The theme of the star map as seen from a planet somewhere in the universe was embodied in a photographic technique called cyanotype. The white dots imitating stars are due to the sand blocking the ultraviolet rays in the sunlight. Sand, which seems to be innumerable on Earth, and stars, which seem to be innumerable in the universe, are represented in the same line.

宇宙のどこかにある惑星から見た星図をテーマに、サイアノタイプという写真技法で具体化した。星を模した白い点は砂が太陽光に含まれる紫外線を遮ったためである。地球上に無数にあると思える砂と、宇宙に無数にあると思える星を同列に表現した。
